Overarching Purpose Statement

The single overarching purpose of this appropriation is to provide policy advice and other support to Ministers in discharging their policy decision-making and other portfolio responsibilities.

National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women
This category is limited to providing administrative, advisory and research support for the National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women.

Reasons for Change in Appropriation

This appropriation increased by a further $250,000 to $7.312 million for the 2019/20 financial year due to additional revenue received from the Crown to support non-governmental organisations to deliver services for women affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
