Reasons for Change in Appropriation

This appropriation increased by $320,000 to $48.136 million for 2018/19. The increase relates to:

  • an increase of $20,000 in Revenue Other to reflect the latest forecast including course fees payable to Crown Law by other government agencies for government lawyer courses and conferences run by the Government Legal Network, and
  • an expense transfer of $300,000 from 2017/18 to 2018/19 for developing and publishing stand-alone Solicitor-General guidelines on prosecuting sexual violence cases, and developing training for Crown prosecutors based on the new guidelines.
