Explanation for Use of Multi-Class Output Expense Appropriation
The output classes relate to the provision of policy advice and related outputs such as Ministerial servicing and Crown entity monitoring within Vote ACC.
Reasons for Change in Output Class
Crown Entity Monitoring
This output class decreased from $714,000 to $297,000 as a result of a fiscally neutral transfer of $417,000 to Vote Finance for future monitoring of the Accident Compensation Corporation.
Policy Advice - ACC
This output class increased from $2.414 million to $2.545 million as a result of two expense transfers from 2011/12: $400,000 for the Accident Compensation Choice Work Programme and $24,000 for Corporate Model Implementation Project (Phase Two), and a retention of underspend of $37,000 from 2011/12 for funding of transition and implementation costs for the new Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
This was offset by a retention of underspend of $330,000 from 2011/12 for transition and implementation costs for the new Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
