Purpose of the Policy Perspectives Papers Series
Policy Perspectives Papers bring ideas, analysis and empirical research to bear on topical policy issues. They seek to share important insights from economic literature, international policy experience, and Treasury research in a manner that is accessible to non-specialist audiences. The papers do not themselves represent policy advice, nor do they represent the views of the Treasury or the Government. See:

Policy Perspectives Papers each have a reference number indicating the year and sequence it was published eg, PP 06/02 was the second Policy Perspectives Paper published in 2006.
