In April 2008 the Treasury and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) released the report of the investigation into the error in the tax revenues for January 2008 reported in the Financial Statements of the Government of New Zealand for the Seven Months Ended 30 January 2008.
There are two media statements relating to this investigation and release:
- Report of Investigation of an Error in Tax Revenue Numbers (2 April 2008)
- Revised Financial Statements (18 March 2018) - Includes the terms of reference of the investigation by Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the Treasury.
