Guidance on the ICR: Assessment and Moderation

This guidance document is a companion to the overview guidance on the Investor Confidence Rating (ICR) which explains the rationale for the ICR and its nine elements.

It sets out the detailed information requirements and assessment criteria for each element of the Investor Confidence rating.

This guidance document is aimed at those in Investment-Intensive agencies who are working on the ICR assessments and for those parties involved in the assessment or moderation processes.

This document sets out the way in which the ICR will operate from 1 August 2018. Version 6 of the guidance operates until this date.

This document is also complementary to the guidance on the Long Term Investment Plans (LTIPs).
