Corporate documents

The Treasury in its role as the Government’s lead advisor on economic, financial and regulatory policy, produces a number of corporate documents each year as required.

These include:

  • Annual reports
  • Strategic intentions
  • Speeches
  • Media statements
  • Briefings to incoming ministers/governments

In this section

  • Annual reports

    The latest annual report is usually available September or October each year for the immediately preceding financial year.
  • Strategic intentions

    The Statement of Intent (Strategic Intentions) informs Parliament and the public about the Treasury and its role as the Government’s lead advisor on economic, financial and regulatory policy.
  • Four-year plan

    The Treasury has released its Four-Year Plan for 2017/18 to 2020/21.
  • Speeches

    The Treasury's executive and senior leaders give a number of speeches and presentations throughout the year. We publish these where they may be of interest to a wider audience.
  • Media statements

    Media statements and advisories issued by the Treasury.
  • Briefings to incoming ministers

    Briefing documents (known as "Briefings to Incoming Ministers" BIMs) are provided to new Government ministers on key policies.
