Cabinet Paper EXP-24-SUB-0050: Quarterly Investment Report for Quarter Ending June 2024#

Proposal#

1. This paper is presented in two parts. The first part seeks Cabinet agreement for nine investments to enter the investment pipeline and commence planning and seven investments to progress in planning. It presents quarterly and annual agency investment reporting:

1.1. For investments in planning and delivery for the 1 April to 30 June 2024 period,

1.2. Annual reporting on investment intentions and benefit realisation for 2023-24,

1.3. Chief Executive attestations outlining compliance with the expectations set out in Cabinet Office Circular CO (23) 9.

2. The second part is an update on the Treasury review of the Better Business Case and Gateway frameworks.
