This tekoteko (carved statue) is called Tāne-nui-a-Rangi and lives inside the Treasury’s wharenui – Ngā mokopuna a Tāne. The wharenui was carved in 1991 by tohunga whakairo Mark Kopua. Photo by Wayne Gamble Photography.
