Abstract
There has been a halving of productivity growth in NZ since 2000 compared with the 1990's and a huge increase in the regulatory burden on the private sector. This presentation will reflect on whether these trends may be inter-related and how the business world views these matters, as seen through the eyes of a former senior public official and leading businessman.
