As announced on Budget Day, 14 May 2020, the Budget documents released on that day do not capture all Government decisions that had been made by Budget Day. This was due to the Government needing to continue making decisions to respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
The Treasury has today released a Summary of Initiatives for the decisions announced on Budget Day funded from the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund (CRRF) that were not able to be reflected in Budget documents such as the 2019/20 Supplementary Estimates and 2020/21 Main Estimates documents.
This Summary of Initiatives document provides greater detail on new spending initiatives agreed in the CRRF Foundational Package by Cabinet on 11 May 2020.
