The June 2021 update of the NZ Activity index (NZAC) was released today.
Key points to note:
- Activity in June is up 6% on the same month last year, with indicators up across the board.
- Growth in online job ads and falling jobseeker numbers were particularly strong in June.
- Traffic flows and card transactions are also firmly up on the same time last year.
The next update of the NZAC for July activity is scheduled for publication on Friday 20 August 2021.
