The Treasury is the lead on investment management in the Public sector.
The Treasury has accountability for developing and maintaining the rules and processes around investment management. Most of the rules are contained in the Cabinet Circular CO 23 (9) which was issued on 18 September 2023. This work is managed by the Investment Management System team.
