Nominating Committee for the Guardians of NZ Superannuation Fund
The Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation is a Crown Entity established by the New Zealand Superannuation Act 2001 to manage and administer the New Zealand Superannuation Fund.
The Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation has a separate governing board whose members are appointed by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance. An independent nominating committee makes nominations to the Minister who then consults with representatives of other political parties in Parliament before the decision is made.
