The Treasury will publish its 2014 Investment Statement on 26 March and journalists are invited to register their interest to attend an embargoed briefing on the day of publication.
This briefing will be conducted in a lockup, hosted at the Treasury, in Wellington.

2:45pm: The 2014 Investment Statement will be distributed and analysts will be available to answer technical questions
Journalists are welcome to arrive at any time after 2.45pm, but please do arrive before 3.15pm. Embargo conditions apply upon entry
3:20pm: Treasury Deputy Chief Executive Vicky Robertson is expected to arrive around 3.20pm and give a short address before taking reporters' questions. She will be accompanied by the Secretary, Gabriel Makhlouf, and Deputy Secretary Brendon Doyle.
4:00pm: Lockup ends, embargo lifted

Note that normal embargo rules apply. There is to be no transmission of information before 4pm (but reporters will be free to log-on after 3.45pm to prepare to transmit from 4pm). Journalists are also asked to ensure phones are put on silent mode.
