How to apply

Graduate Recruitment Process

1.  Apply Online

The first time you apply for a job with us you will need to create a profile on our applicant tracking system. We will then ask a series of short questions with the graduate/intern online application form (eg, work experience, study field, lived experiences, stream/s you want to apply against). We will not need you to upload a cover letter or resume – where the system asks you to do so, please simply upload a blank document.

2.  Screening Talent

When our advert closes, we are very quick to begin screening all applications that are submitted. If you are a candidate that is longlisted for our graduate roles, we will reach out to you to begin online testing.

If you aren't selected, we will let you know via email and suggest you opt-in for job alerts where you can see when new roles are advertised.

3.  Online testing

This is where we ask our longlist of candidates a series of situational judgement questions in addition to a cognitive test to understand how you would respond to various scenarios that may take place on the job.

4.  Video interviewing

Dive into analysing a policy proposal or challenge with our online video interview and written assessment, designed to test your analytical abilities and see if you enjoy the type of work our graduate analysts do.

5.  Virtual Panel Interviews

In these interviews, you will meet with 2 hiring managers and answer a range of behavioural and technical questions. This is also your chance to ask any questions you have about the role and about the Treasury.

We aim to make all of our offers within 7-10 days of the final panel interview.
