Administrative & Support Services Benchmarking Report for the Financial Year 2010/11
Published 7 Mar 2012
The second annual Better Administrative & Support Services (BASS) report provides information on the cost, efficiency, and effectiveness of administrative & support (A&S) services in the State sector.
Results cover six A&S service functions across larger departments and Crown entities over two reporting periods (FY 2009/10 and FY 2010/11). The report is a key deliverable from the annual A&S service benchmarking exercise, which provides management information to support value for money assessments, target-setting, and tracking of improvement over time. It also provides a picture of each function across agencies, including larger cross agency improvement programmes.
