Best Practice Regulation
Page updated 21 Sep 2015
The Best Practice Regulation model was developed by Treasury to provide a "common language" across regulatory regimes. The Best Practice Regulation Report gathers together high-level Departmental assessments of New Zealand regulatory regimes against a set of best practice regulation principles. The assessment enables the identification of areas where further analysis may be warranted and highlights work that is currently underway.
