Overseas Investment Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2016: Targeted Exemptions to the Overseas Investment Act 2005

In September/October 2016 the Government undertook consultation on draft Regulations and a Gazette Notice to implement targeted exemptions to the Overseas Investment Act 2005.  The Minister of Finance and Minister for Land Information announced these proposed exemptions in May 2016.  Their media statement relating to these changes can be found on the Beehive website: Changes coming to overseas investment regime.
