Biography
Iris Claus is a senior economist at the Asian Development Bank and a research associate of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Australian National University. Her current research interests are in development economics, the economic effects of taxation, financial intermediation, open economy macroeconomics and general equilibrium modeling. Iris previously held positions at the New Zealand Inland Revenue, the New Zealand Treasury, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Bank of Canada. She is an associate editor of Asian Economic Papers and the Journal of Economic Surveys.
