Rena Grounding Costs

In April 2013 the Treasury collated and released a summary of costs incurred by the government in relation to the Rena grounding.

These costs reflect the best information available as at 29 January 2013 but are subject to change as the response to the grounding of the Rena is not yet complete.

The costs included in this table cover both business as usual expenditure for time taken in the response to the Rena grounding, and other costs unique to the grounding, such as legal fees and the costs of vessels and expertise used in the clean up process.

This material is also available for download in PDF format.
