Release of Treasury advice to the Minister of Finance on the changes to the management of its foreign excahneg risk exposure adopted by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Reserve Bank).
On 13 July 2007 the Reserve Bank announced changes to the way it manages foreign exchange risk on foreign reserves. Details are available on the Reserve Bank web site - see Foreign Reserves.
The report released here contains advice from the Treasury to the Minister of Finance on the changes adopted by the Reserve Bank.
