Treasury's Forecasting Performance Information Releases

The Treasury has commissioned external reviews of its forecasting performance and carries out regular monitoring of its forecasting performance.
There have been the following information releases on these topics:
- Regular Reviews (2003-2011) - The Treasury releases its own regular reviews of its economic forecasting performance. The latest review is dated July 2011 and covers forecasts in 2010.
- Reviews and Steps to Improve Forecasting Accuracy (12 December 2007) - A release highlighting recent (2005 to 2007) analysis of both the tax and economic forecasting carried out by the Treasury and reports to the Minister of Finance on measures being taken by the Treasury to improve the accuracy of its forecasts.
