Using the criteria and thresholds agreed by the Finance and Expenditure Committee, decide which non-departmental appropriations and output classes require a section 32A report.  You should assess:

  • those already requiring a report. These should be listed in the current Schedule of the Appropriation (Estimates) Act
  • for the current financial year, any new non-departmental appropriations and output classes that should be subject to a report, and
  • any new non-departmental appropriations and output classes, which will be subject to a section 32A report in the next financial year.
 
As part of the Estimate process, upload this information to CFISnet.

Prepare the draft Section 32A report, comparing the expected service performance or results, to the actual results, for the Ministers signature, using the Treasury template provided for Section 32A reports.  
Deliver to The Publications Tem, Level 5, The Treasury, No 1 The Terrace, 80 hard copies of the report, 7 working days before 30 September each year.
