    This guidance document sets out what is expected and/or required of administering departments in preparing reports on behalf of their Ministers in relation to non-departmental appropriations in accordance with section 32A of the Public Finance Act 1989 (the PFA).

    In May 2011, Appendix 1 was updated to include the appropriations or classes of outputs that become subject to section 32A reporting during the 2010/11 financial year, and an Appendix 2 was added with appropriations and classes of outputs subject to section 32A of the Public Finance Act 1989 for 2011/12.
