1 About This Guidance
1.1 Introduction
This guidance document sets out the Government's policy and procedures for the operation of the Cross Agency Initiatives Process (CAIP), a process for departments seeking funding for significant cross agency or all of government (AOG) initiatives.
This guidance document should be read by those seeking to understand the Government's policy and procedures relating to CAIP, particularly those preparing submissions.
The requirements and guidance outlined in this document apply until this document is updated or replaced. This document is scheduled for review in March 2012.
This document has been written by the Cross Agency Programme Management Office (Cross Agency PMO).
