General Treasury Information

  • About Treasury - Gives an overview of who we are and what we do.
  • Organisation Structure - Explains the structure of Treasury and the teams within each group.

  • Outcomes - Provides an overview of Treasury's three outcomes: improved economic performance; improved State sector performance; and macroeconomic stability.

  • KiwiSaver - View information on KiwiSaver including the budget 2007 changes
  • Climate Change - View Treasury information on climate change, including links to recent speeches given by the Secretary to the Treasury.
  • Tax - View information on Tax including Revenue and Business Tax Reform .
  • Budget 2007 - View the latest Budget documents, including the Budget Speech, Fiscal Strategy Report, Budget Economic and Fiscal Update, and estimates of appropriations for each area of Government expenditure.

Treasury Guest Lectures

At least once a month leading academics from New Zealand and overseas are invited to present a scholarly lecture at the Treasury for Treasury staff as well as external people. See the Treasury Guest Lecture Series page for more information on these lectures.

Speeches

The Secretary to the Treasury and other senior staff members regularly present speeches to external audiences on a range of topics relating to Treasury's work.
