Overview of the Vote
The Minister Responsible for Archives New Zealand is responsible for appropriations in the Vote for the 2011/12 financial year covering the following:
Departmental Appropriations
- a total of $19.674 million for the management of public archives, the provision of access to archives, and community support in preserving and managing records and archives
- a total of $4.050 million for the administration of the regulatory regime under the Public Records Act 2005
- a total of $535,000 for the provision of policy advice and support services to the Minister on public recordkeeping and management of national archives.
