Overview of the Vote
The Minister of Youth Affairs is responsible for appropriations in the Vote for the 2010/11 financial year covering the following:
- A total of over $5.500 million for the provision of policy advice, delivery of services and leadership to improve services for young people.
- A total of nearly $8 million to provide programmes and services to implement the Youth Development Strategy Aotearoa.
- A total of nearly $900,000 to provide one-off partial funding to Territorial Authorities to respond to emerging needs of young people.
