WELLINGTON
Attention: Kelly Goodwin
Strict RSVP policy this year
Organisations must RSVP by 5pm Friday 2 May to advise of the names of those attending the lock-up, either media or analysts. The contact is: Kelly Goodwin at the Treasury on (04) 917 6032; fax (04) 499 0437; or kelly.goodwin@treasury.govt.nz.
Numbers attending the lock up will be restricted by health and safety regulations, so it is essential that you RSVP your intention to attend. Although every effort will be made to accommodate everyone, the number of people attending from one organisation may need to be limited.
IMPORTANT
A rolling embargo applies to the content of the budget documents. Information within the Budget documentation can be released once Dr Cullen has addressed that area or issue in the Budget speech. Areas not discussed in the Budget speech, including the discussion at the press conference, are embargoed until the documents are tabled in the House by Dr Cullen at the conclusion of his speech, and must not be communicated in any form, or acted on, until that time.
Compliance with the embargo provisions will be monitored.
Any organisation found to break the embargo provisions may be refused permission to attend future lockups.
