Information about the Treasury's benefits, learning, experience and development for Graduate Analysts
The Treasury will provide you with a positive working environment where you will be encouraged to learn and develop your skills and capability.
Remuneration
Graduate Analysts are appointed at the graduate level and can expect to move on to the Analyst range after 18 months. Salary increases are performance-based and linked to annual performance assessments.
Performance Assessment
Graduate Analysts are assessed against their agreed personal development work plans and the performance results required. A performance-based increase in salary may be offered as a result of assessment.
Learning and Development
From day one we will help you develop your business, personal and technical skills. The Graduate Pathway Programme is designed to help build depth of knowledge and understanding of our organisation over the first 18 months working for the Treasury. Learning opportunities include on-the-job training, coaching and in-house and external programmes facilitated by technical experts. In addition, a learning journal will be developed by you and your manager.
Career Opportunities
The Treasury's various career opportunities enable you and your manager to plan a career path that recognises your personal long-term goals. These options could include project work, rotation to other teams within the Treasury, or short-term placements with other organisations.
Work/Life Balance
Balancing work and personal responsibilities is important to us. We have developed a number of 'best practice' initiatives that include flexible working hours, childcare assistance, medical and fitness assistance, remote computer access and EEO networks.
